Whenever someone says “I don’t like/hate One Piece because the artwork sucks” I’m all like:

Oh yeah, I guess you’re right, the art of this manga/anime is awful, particularly the backgrounds and architecture.

Clearly Oda has no idea what he’s doing considering the world of One Piece has no thought process behind it and lacks detail.

And the cover pages are just so dull.

It’s the same thing, everytime, there’s never any diversity.

Eiichro Oda obviously has no sense of atmosphere or ambiance.

Or color.

And all of the characters are boring in design and look exactly the same.

Yep, the art of One Piece is pretty terrible. No hard work put into it what-so-ever.
