The Omen of the Emperor. A tribute to the part of Luffy’s destiny that was fulfilled in Chapter 903 only a few days ago. We know Luffy as the lovable protagonist of One Piece, but Oda’s made a point to remind us that he is still a pirate, and that he himself doesn’t want to be a hero. Likewise, there is a duality in the depiction of ravens in the cultures of the world - they are omens of bad luck in some and great fortune in others, and are associated with both warfare and safe passage alike. It’s a dichotomy that I find fascinating, and since Luffy, as the Will of D.’s prophesized bringer of great change, has a destiny that is directly intertwined with the fate of the One Piece world I drew him together with one. Happy Luffy Day 2018!!

When I go out to buy One Piece volumes I always forget which ones I do or don’t have. So this is to help me remember (and to write a list since they all have to go back in my moving boxes baw)

So close, yet so far. Why are there so many volumes. SO MANY.
