Additionally, one small change this year. We ask that everyone tries to stick to the given days for each theme, but if it is a little late, still put your submission in the tag (#olivarryweek2016 this time - remember to make sure it’s in the first 5 tags or it won’t appear in the tracked tags!) and it will be reblogged as long as it’s in by the end of the week. We’ll see how that goes this year, and if it doesn’t end up messy, we’ll keep it for future years, too! (Please note: early posts won’t be reblogged).
Don’t forget to include what day/theme your submission is for either in the tags or in the post itself.
Following the results of the poll, we’re excited to announce that Olivarry Week will run from Sunday 5th June - Saturday 11th June.
That being done, we’d like to invite you to start sending in prompts. We have received a few already, so thank you to those who’ve already sent theirs in, although, some of them have been a little to specific - we are looking for themes rather than specific scenarios. Remember, your prompt will be used by various people in various different mediums, so try to make it something vague - examples of prompts that were selected last year can be foundhere.
Since we have a bit of time before the actual event, we’ve decided to accept theme suggestions until Monday 4th April. On this date, we’ll collect all the prompts that we’ve received and open up a vote to decide on the final themes.
As always, if you have any questions/concerns or even suggestions for other events, you can ask ushere, or if you want to talk to us individually, your admins are @smittenvigilantes and @empty-puppet.

Here it is, folks! Round 2 of voting, this time for what week you guys want us to run Olivarry Week. Like the last one, this poll will run for a week from today - 03/13 to 03/20, so get your votes in ASAP.
Additionally, feel free to start sending us asks with the desired themes/prompts that you guys want to see (anons are now open, too). Remember to keep them short and vague to give the writers/artists/giffers/whatever a bit of freedom to interpret them! Only a few words long,preferably.

Following the success of
Olivarry Week last year, we’re excited to announce that we will absolutely be
throwing it again this year. So! We figured this year since we have more time,
we could get more input on the actual date from you guys.
The first round of voting will be on deciding the month, and
will run for a week - from today (March 5th) until next Saturday (March 12th).
Think about what month works better for you. In a week’s time we will select
the top two months and give you guys the options of dates within those months
in a follow-up poll, and then we’ll start taking prompt suggestions and take it from there!

Hey everyone! Five days til Olivarry Week - we hope you’re as excited as we are! We felt that this would be a good time to give you guys a quick reminder of the rules, and the prompts, as well as exactly how it’s going to go down during the week.
Olivarry Week runs from Sunday 18th October until Saturday 24th October. We will be reblogging the posts according to American EST, and things will be reblogged twice a day - once at 10am, and once at 10pm. Don’t worry if you miss the cut off due to your timezone, we will just reblog it on the next one.
The rules can be found here- if you haven’t familiarised yourself with them yet, please make sure you do that. The main thing we want to stress, though, is that whenever you post your work, please make sure that #olivarryweek2015 (one word, no spaces) is in the first five tags, or we may not catch it.
Here is a reminder of the prompts:
Day 1: Barry working for the SCPD Day 2: Coming Out Day 3: Fake Relationship/Married Day 4: Anything Goes (Free Day!) Day 5: Domestic Day 6: Hurt/Comfort Day 7: Warbler!Barry
These can be interpreted however you want, as long as they’re Olivarry related. Just to clarify - Day 4 (Anything Goes) you guys can post absolutely ANYTHING Olivarry - there is no theme on that day, so go wild.
