    Follows headcanons of gastricpierrot​‘s fic And In The Darkness, I Found You with permission, of course, but you don’t need any prior reading to enjoy this and this has no influence over Pierrot’s work. (But you should read their fic anyway because it’s 10/10 do recommend)

    Summary: Haise isn’t sure what it is about Hide that makes him feel so at home but he does know that the song Hide sings to him is oddly familiar he just doesn’t understand why.

    -Arima and his squad found Kaneki outside a vampire city covered in blood at age 10, though Kaneki claims he doesn’t remember how he ended up that away.
    -Kaneki meets Hide at school soon after when Hide protects Kaneki from a bunch of bullies. They become inseparable.
    -Their Unit consists of Kaneki, Hide, Touka, Nishiki and Kimi. They are under the command of Amon.
    -Kaneki uses a black gear double-ended glaive cursed with a demon named Rize.
    -Hide uses a black gear crossbow.

    HideKane AU when Kaneki is blind instead of amnesia after V14 (i don’t know which is worse … at least he remember Hide …) and i tried to draw crying Hide for the first time (IT’S SO HARD, I MEAN HOW CAN YOU DRAW A CRYING SUNSHINE)
