Because you shouldn’t care about hiding your scars or being ashamed.

If somebody stares? Stare back.

If somebody ask? Say it’s personal. 

If they don’t get it? Change the subject.

If somebody finds you repulsive? They’re not worth thinking about.

If friends see you differently? They’re not real or true friends.

Your skin doesn’t change your personality. 

Compare with racism. Does skin color matter?

Scars shouldn’t either.

We all have scars. We all have stories. 

It’s a part of you, but not all of you.
