Am I the only one who really, really wants a Last of Us modern AU in which Sarah’s still alive (still a teenager), Joel and Tess are business partners and the Fireflies are some underground crime syndicate. Ellie’s an orphan being looked after by Marlene, the latter of which suckers Joel into taking her in to keep her out of the whole gang crime businessy thing and damn son MY HEAD IS EXPLODING WITH IDEAS AND I CAN’T EVEN.
