35 GRAND IN THE BANK. WHOOP WHOOP. EVEN THOUGH I HAVEN’T /ACTUALLY/ GOTTEN YET THERE’S A HIGH CHANCE THAT I WILL! SHOPPING SPREEEEEE!!

Wow, thanks for rubbing it in people’s faces! The majority of which don’t even make that much in an entire year!

It’s okay to be happy…

Oh cool, if she’s so happy and it’s unexpected and she doesn’t need it (“YAY, I’M GOING ON A SHOPPING SPREE”) can I have some? I need about two grand for the dental surgery that would stop my constant tmj and pain. I mean I make five grand a year and she’s so glad about sharing her 35 grand windfall sooo…

Oh wait, was that tactless? Deal with it.

Glad to see you actually looked into what you were bitching about. 10/10, a+ effort. Because she’s really going to spend 35k on shopping.
Oh man, I hope that wasn’t too tactless for you. I’d hate to make you even more butthurt about how po’ you are, because clearly, that’s Envy’s fault.

Dumbass. If you’re going to rebut this maybe you should know what you’re talking about. Otherwise you just look stupid.
Oh wait.

Oh gee, sorry my being poor and in pain is harshing her widdle feefees. Oh look, she wants to move out. Fantastic, great, but hey, she was the one who worded it like shopping was the first thing she was gonna do. If it was a yay about how she’s glad she got the inheritance so that she could shop for a home (She IS moving out of her apartment or ditching a bad house/parents’ home instead of just “trading up” and out of a perfectly good home, right?) that’s one thing. Also she still mentioned how much she’s getting and like other people mentioned, that’s the part that’s getting people annoyed.

Well. and people who can’t string together a good argument trying to whiteknight for her.

I can’t stand up for my lair partner - one of my closest friends - now? Yeah, seems pretty legit. Anyway, you’ve managed to make Envy feel down about something she should be excited for - Good for you!
Mission accomplished, guys, give eachother a pat on the back for a job well done.

As intriguing as this argument is, the point has been made and you’ve achieved what you strived for. I no longer hold any interest in this topic, I’m surprised people managed to drag it out this long.

So everyone here good now? Cool? Let us all do something productive instead of smack our heads against a wall.

Hypothetically, I left a car worth over 4 times the amount in that person’s bank in the parking lot of a shopping center...

expressing joy over getting a large sum of money is tactless how…? For all you know SHE makes less than that in a year....

yeah this is so not tactless money/jobs/pets/food/children If I yay that I got a new job and you haven’t, NOT TACTLESS....

*scratches chin idly* I don’t think it’s any more or less “tactless” than people who post yays about getting a new dog....

I agree with Puppet! It’s ok to be happy. It’s OK to tell everyone what they have in their bank account. It’s no...

I don’t think she is rubbing it in anyone’s face at all. She is expressing excitement. I think you are a negative...

  9. teilchen said: That’s sheer envy speaking, huh? What is it to you? Why are you putting yourself in the shoes to judge her for being happy about the money? It’s an inheritance, it’s money saved up over a life time. It has nothing to do with annual income.
  10. deershstagla said: Yeah, that much disposable income. I’m a bit envious myself. Most people I know personally don’t even make that figure in one year. I don’t begrudge them what they have, but it’s just ridiculously tactless to fling it around like that.
