35 GRAND IN THE BANK. WHOOP WHOOP. EVEN THOUGH I HAVEN’T /ACTUALLY/ GOTTEN YET THERE’S A HIGH CHANCE THAT I WILL! SHOPPING SPREEEEEE!!

Wow, thanks for rubbing it in people’s faces! The majority of which don’t even make that much in an entire year!

It’s okay to be happy about getting such a large sum of money (I would be ecstatic!) for your inheritance, but quoting such a specific figure (especially so big) was incredibly tactless, in my opinion.

Well that’s my lair partner you’re talking about so… Yeah, I’m going to say something. Getting so much is exciting for her, and though yes it’s a large sum of money, she is genuinely excited.

By saying she’s rubbing it in people’s faces, you’re sort of saying every thread made in in the Yay Forums is tactless and snobbish. You don’t understand her situation or how this came to be.

As for you not making that much in a year, poor you. That’s hardly Envy’s fault. You realise it’s an INHERITANCE. Which means someone had worked for it, and that someone else had passed away in order for it to be passed on to Envy and her sister.
By posting this confession you are actively trying to make her guilty for being excited about something she’s waited a long time for. Which, in retrospect, makes you the most tactless and bitchiest of all!

Maybe next time you’ll just shut your mouth :0

Should have thought first before you started talking shit about something you know absolutely nothing about.

Hypothetically, I left a car worth over 4 times the amount in that person’s bank in the parking lot of a shopping center...

expressing joy over getting a large sum of money is tactless how…? For all you know SHE makes less than that in a year....

*scratches chin idly* I don’t think it’s any more or less “tactless” than people who post yays about getting a new dog....

I agree with Puppet! It’s ok to be happy. It’s OK to tell everyone what they have in their bank account. It’s no...

I don’t think she is rubbing it in anyone’s face at all. She is expressing excitement. I think you are a negative...

  9. teilchen said: That’s sheer envy speaking, huh? What is it to you? Why are you putting yourself in the shoes to judge her for being happy about the money? It’s an inheritance, it’s money saved up over a life time. It has nothing to do with annual income.
  10. deershstagla said: Yeah, that much disposable income. I’m a bit envious myself. Most people I know personally don’t even make that figure in one year. I don’t begrudge them what they have, but it’s just ridiculously tactless to fling it around like that.
