I don’t know how the artist meant for it to be interpreted, but.

To me, this just looks like a great… portrait of just… Bakura, after his final confrontation in the series.

He’s been beaten, destroyed, and not even himself anymore. He’s fused with Zorc, left without his identity and any sense of his humanity. And there’s the shadow of who he was, mourning the loss of his own self, wondering how it all could have fallen apart like it had, ended so meaninglessly.

Just random thinking and rambling, but. Meh, ignore me.
