Spideypool Agent!Peter AU where Deadpool isn’t weapon X, just a smartass merc. Read more about it under the cut.

So I’m totally on-board with the idea that while Peter goes off to College somewhere else in the states he realises that he can’t really be”Spider-Man” anymore because his parents (Tony and Pepper or Tony and Steve idk) will definitely figure out that he’s been the one in the suit all along. So instead, while he’s studying, he starts working for S.H.I.E.L.D. as an agent.
On one of his missions he meets Wade and Logan, immediately forming a friendship with the former for his pop-culture references, jokes and inability to shut up (Peter ends up webbing his mouth shut, a move which Logan wholeheartedly approves while Coulson just watches with with silent amusement).

The mission goes smoothly and Coulson notes that Wade is infinitely easier to deal with and control when Peter is around, so the two are paired up for missions together more often than not (although Peter still finds himself working with other members of S.H.I.E.L.D. from time to time).

Anyway Peter goes back to New York for some holiday time with his family when a mugging goes wrong and Peter’s first though its to go to Wade’s place since he knows the Merc has an apartment nearby and he’ll ask far less questions than Tony about where he got those wounds.
He breaks into the place and Wade, who hasn’t seen Peter’s face, is understandably surprised when some beat-up kid crawls through his window and tracks blood onto his floor, immediately threatening him with one his pistols. Peter tells him who he is (I’m your fucking partner you idiot! You can’t recognise my voice by now?!).
Deadpool fixes him up, offers him a place to stay for a few days if he needs it and the two somehow end up snuggling on the couch when Peter kisses his cheek in thanks and things go from there then they start dating and more things happen and the Avengers find out that Peter was Spider-Man/Agent Spider all along and more things happen the end.
